Our Vision
Creekside Alliance Church is a place where people are connecting to God through fervent prayer, relevant worship, and life-changing spiritual growth opportunities; where people are connecting with one another through fellowship events, the co-ed softball team, and small groups addressing real concerns in their lives; and where people are connecting with their community and their world through outreach events, service ministries, missions trips, and cooperating with other ministries.
Creekside is a place where prayer is foundational to everything. Through weekly prayer meetings, prayer requests, prayer vigils, prayer calendars, and personal prayer times we connect with God, remember our dependency on Him, and seek His power to accomplish in and through our lives more than we could ever do ourselves.
Creekside is a place where worship of God is shown in how we live our lives throughout the week for our Savior Jesus Christ. Sunday morning services are informal and contemporary - yet reverent; relevant - yet biblically sound and emphasizing the authority of God's Word; and multifaceted - yet drawing us closer to God, not just entertaining.
Creekside is a place where instruction in God's Word, the Bible, helps us to be better equipped to love and serve God and our fellow man. Whether it is through the message on Sunday morning, personal devotional time, a small group, or a one-on-one conversation people will find their lives enriched as they discover how the Bible applies to their lives. Opportunities are given to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ in combined group settings, specialized small groups, and individual discipleship.
Creekside is a place where fellowship is evident by the love that is shown toward each other. Whether a person is a first-time visitor or a long-time member, they will be treated with respect, cared about, cared for, prayed for, and given opportunities to use the abilities and talents God has given them. We are a multicultural family that includes and welcomes young and old, rich and poor, single and married, quiet or expressive, questioning or confident people who love one another and, in doing so, show the world that we are disciples of Jesus Christ.
Creekside is a place that is extending God's kingdom here on earth by reaching out locally and globally with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We are accomplishing this by meeting real physical, emotional, and mental needs in our community by partnering with local ministries like the Women's Care Center of New Smyrna Beach and Halifax Urban Ministries. We also accomplish this by participating in local community events like the Port Orange Family Days. Globally we reach out with the gospel by praying for, supporting, and sending missionaries in places like Thailand, Peru, Germany, and Ecuador.
