Joan has been working at the Alliance Academy the past 32 years. She has also worked in a prison ministry for the past 16 years where God has been doing some amazing work.

Don and Joan are living at the present time in Wesley Chapel, Florida. They recently return from the field.

There have been a couple of Alliance Video Magazine clips done on the prison ministry as well as a story in the A-Life Magazine about the prison work. The work in the prison consists of Bible Studies, a card ministry that helps to feed the young women imprisoned as well as a ministry to help with medicine and personal needs of young foreign women who have found themselves behind bars in a foreign country.

Joan has coached varsity girls basketball for the last 18 years as well. She was head of the Athletic Department and the Physical Education Department at the academy.

Don has worked as a guidance counselor, test center supervisor for U.S. college entrance tests, director of student activities, calendar and facilities coordinator.

They have also taken opportunities to minister to an isolated group of sharecroppers at Christmas time in the Pululagua Crater near the Equator Monument and Joan has also helped organize, coordinate and translate for medical caravans to the jungle and high in the mountains on Mt. Chimborazo.

Pray for Laura in the prison system who is on parole and living for the Lord but has many pressures from the dark side.

Pray for the leadership who is taking over the prison ministry at the present time.
